Union Grove · Every fourth Sunday of August
A new home for the White–Wooten Family Reunion is taking root—preserving our history, connecting our generations, and helping every branch find its place in the family tree.
See what’s growing01 · Our story
The story begins with two White–Wooten marriages: Stamey White married Bessie Wooten, and Jim Wooten married Marshie White. Because the parents in each couple were siblings, their children shared both sets of grandparents and grew up as double first cousins.
Today, their many descendants gather to remember where we came from, welcome new generations, and keep the connections between every branch alive.
Eight children
Lois, Sadie, Hugh, Marie, Irene, James, William, and S.B.
Six children
Royal, Annie, Clay, Naomi, Mary Lea, and Stella.
These names are transcribed from the reunion card and will be refined as relatives share records, photographs, and family knowledge.
02 · Fourteen branches
Our future family tree will let relatives explore each founding branch, move between generations, and understand how we connect.
03 · Coming next
The next release will bring an interactive family tree, family photographs and stories, a privacy-respecting relative map, and profiles family members can help keep current.
Family information will remain private and available only to invited relatives.
