01 · Our story

Rooted in family.
Renewed every year.

The story begins with two White–Wooten marriages: Stamey White married Bessie Wooten, and Jim Wooten married Marshie White. Because the parents in each couple were siblings, their children shared both sets of grandparents and grew up as double first cousins.

Today, their many descendants gather to remember where we came from, welcome new generations, and keep the connections between every branch alive.
